Christmas Traditions

I love wintertime in AZ. We spent most of our winter break OUTSIDE in the 70 degree weather.
Including Christmas Eve:
Last year the Young's started their Christmas Eve Tradition of going out to the desert for the day. It's been such a blast. We roast some dogs, set up horseshoes, shoot some guns, and the men always seem to enjoy their ceremonial "putting out of the fire" together.

Max was adamant about teaching me to load and shoot guns, just incase a bad guy ever came into our house.
I missed every single clay pigeon. Looks like the bad guys are going to get away.

Everybody plays and plays and plays for the entire day, and then we all head home to get ready for CHRISTMAS!
This year was particularly exhausting...

There are many reasons why it's great having both of our families within a mile of each other. Here are a few:
1. We get to see both sides on holidays
2. We are NEVER bored when we come home
3. We get twice as much food

We are so spoiled.

  1. Yes, you are spoiled. Austin and I were just talking about it the other night, how people are so lucky to have their families in the same state, much less the same neighborhood! Things would be so much easier . . .
